Do non-qualified stock options need to be exercised in date order?

Mike,

I can't find anything that says NQSO's need to be exercised in date order. Has that rule changed?

John

Hello John,

No. To my knowledge, NQSOs were never required to be exercised in date order. Some plans could have provisions to that effect, which could supercede the general rule.

Good luck!
